Dear colleagues and members of the MR-EM forum, we would invite you to the annual meeting of the MR-EM simulation forum.
The meeting will take place at the Erwin L. Hahn Institute in Essen on 9. Dec. 2012.
Erwin L. Hahn Institut Essen
UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe Zollverein
Leitstand Kokerei Zollverein
Arendahls Wiese 199
Program:
This year we would encourage the participants to present their own MR-EM projects in a short oral presentation (15-20min) and discus it with the audience for possible difficulties in realization and evaluation. This could be a finished project, a problem you are facing or another work in progress where you would like to get some ideas and feedback.
Agenda:
12.30 Accreditation and Welcome Snacks
13.00 Welcome and Greeting
Oral Presentations of Work in Progress Projects (talk with discussion):
13.15 Simulation of a Dual-Row Transmit Array for 9.4 T Neuroimaging
Jens Hoffmann, MPI for Biological Cybernetics, Tübingen
13.45 OpenEMS Project Overview
Thorsten Liebig, Chair of Theoretical Electrical Engineering (ATE), University of Duisburg-Essen
14.15 Simulation of a double tuned 1H/31P RF coil for the human calf at 7 T
Sigrun Goluch, MR Centre of Excellence of Medical University Vienna
14.45 Simulation of Travelling Wave Application for 7 T Primate MRI
Johannes Mallow, Department of Biometry and Medical Informatics, University of Magdeburg
15.15 Break
15.30 Open Discussion
Main Topics:
Multi transmit SAR calculation (Worst Case SAR)
Verification and evaluation of simulation results
measured B1 field for E-field prediction
Modeling in field-simulation
17.00 End of the Meeting
The participation is free.
Registration deadline: 1. Dec. 2012
If you like to joint the meeting, please sent a e-mail to: tim.herrmann@med.ovgu.de
Recommendation:
